Your Customer Portal: LANDAUER Direct
LANDAUER provides you with a practical and comprehensive online tool for your dosimetry monitoring that is included in your subscription.
LANDAUER Direct is a secured Customer web portal, accessible at all times at www.landauerdirect.com. It allows you to:
- view your account at a glance
- update your subscription (adding participant,services or deactivate them)
- be automatically notified about events via email
- view your doses in real-time
- download your documents in PDF (dose reports, invoices, delivery bills…)
Shipping and Return of dosimeters
Our dosimeters are sent as tracked parcels if local postage services propose it.
A control dosimeter specific to the type of dosimeter is included in the parcel, as recommended by most regulations. It allows to track any exposue during the transport and local background subtraction.
Note that it is illegal to send radioactively or biologically contaminated material through the post.
Data management
Processing and reading
LANDAUER proceeds to the reading of the dosimeters within 5 days (7 days for NEUTRAK) of receipt in our Lab. In accordance with existing regulations, all collected data is stored in secured databases. LANDAUER® also propose Emergency analysis within 48 hours of receipt of the dosimeter.
Results reportings
A dose report is sent to your occupational doctor and Radiation Protection Advisor (local regulation apply) within 5 days on average. All individual results can be transmitted to the National Dose Register system. Different types of reports or alerts are available: Individual or collective dose reports, customised or regulary dose alerts, etc.
Archiving
IPLUS and NEUTRAK dosimeters are archived.. are archived for 3 months allowing rereading on request and favoring invetigation in case of high exposure.
Accreditations
LANDAUER’s OSL system is already used by 200 laboratories across 60 countries worldwide, most of which are accredited in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
In addition, LANDAUER participates in national and international intercomparison exercises such as those conducted by the EURADOS network.
All our dosimeters have been tested by independent reference laboratories: the Laboratoire National Henri Becquerel (LNHB – France) and the National Physical Laboratory (NPL – UK), in accordance with applicable IEC and ISO standards.
